Training Program

Practice Director provides a comprehensive training program to meet your unique learning needs. Your training will be monitored from start to finish by your assigned Practice Director Senior Software Consultant.  The experience is effecient and structured to make learning more enjoyable while saving both time and money.

There are three effective components to Practice Director’s training program:

1. Online Training Videos
Your Practice Director consultant will provide you with online 24/7 access to Practice Director’s training center. The online training center provides brief training videos that cover all aspects of the software.  The training center is presented in logical modules that monitor your progress.  A user that completes all modules is qualified as a “Practice Director Certified User”.

2. Sand box Training
Practice Director comes with two data bases.  A Production data base and Training/Testing Data base. The training/testing location is a full version of Practice Director. It allows you to practice and learn by doing, but it does not affect your live information/data.  The Training/Testing data base comes pre-loaded with dummy data for users to  test their working knowledge of Practice Director.  Users input hypothetical work flow situations & transactions that are encountered in the every day use of Practice Director (e.g. scheduling patients, entering charges & related explanation of benefits – “EOB”). Practice Director is shipped to you with two database locations to enter data: a production location and a training/testing location.

3. Training Questions?
Even though our clients say that Practice Director is extremely easy to learn and easy to use, questions may still arise and these can be covered by calling your software consultant.  Practice Director training, as with all aspects of Practice Director, is suppported by your assigned software consultant.

The average training requirement for certified users is 12 to 16 hours.

Optional Onsite Training
The Practice Director team provides custom optional onsite training. Your software consultant will collaborate with you to evaluate your training needs and set a unique training agenda prior to arrival on site. Onsite training is typically a one and one half day custom program and is recommended in circumstances where users are unable to set aside time to complete their associated work function training video module(s) and applicable sandbox scenario(s). Onsite training is $125 per hour.
